The plus points: The location is perfect, view from the rooms are fantastic, there was tea, coffee and an iron / board in the room, receptionist was helpful. Down points is that the hotel could do with a spruce up and the beds were okay, but not super comfortable. BUT! a lot of the comments on here are uncalled for. Yes, it's not The Grand, but we paid over £100 less for a weekend here than the White Rock quoted us. Secondly, there maybe homeless in the park opposite, but you can't blame the hotel for that. An okay budget hotel!
Bit outdated and worn out but friendly receptionist that cater to our needs. Lovely comfy bed. Absolute bargain night away. Personally I would stay again. My friend had a problem with her room and they moved her, upgraded for no extra charge. Her room was lovely! Big windows with a sea view
